Recently, according to the website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC), 2 projects from the Institute of Ecological Civilization are approved by National Natural Science Foundation of China. The 2 projects are: Research on the policy effect of abandoned cultivated land re-cultivation and its optimization in hilly and mountainous areas: from an investigation of heterogeneous farmers applied by Dr. Zou Jinlang, and The spatial and temporal process, distribution and evolution mechanism of Hakka migration into Southern Jiangxi applied by Dr. Li Shiyuan.
